Through this project, Cultural Heritage Without Borders Albania. in collaboration with the National Institute for Cultural Heritage, stabilized the Clock Tower. The construction of the tower dates back to the 11th century. The building was heavily damaged during the earthquakes which hit the area of Tirana and Durres between September and November 2019. This project implemented two urgent activities, including the immediate emergency stabilization of the structure, an in-depth survey to pave the ground for a complete consolidation and restoration of the tower. Later phases of the project focused on a more structural rehabilitation.
