First Aid & Emergency Preparedness in Gaza

This project implemented first aid activities to heritage in the Gaza Strip affected by Israeli air strikes, namely the 13th century Kamaliya monument and the Byzantine mosaic floor of the Abasan church. In preparation for future destruction, the IWAN Center for Cultural Heritage documented 67 historic buildings and monuments situated in the old city of Gaza, as well as a collection of antiquities composed of over 5000 objects.
